About the Project

This is a rapid design project given by Delta Faucets.

 

THE CHALLENGE: “How should Delta Faucet Company, a consumer goods manufacturer, consider evolving its consumer business models to embrace the technology available through IoT, adding value beyond just the manufacturing and sale of the physical goods?”

 

 

MY ROLE: I was the Product Manager for this project and my responsibilities included understanding the overall landscape, ideating solutions, prototyping UI, business assessment and concept validation. 

THE SOLUTION: To create a new range of IoT based products under Delta Faucets and create an app so that the potential customers can choose products for their new bathroom and visualize it through AR technology.

  1. Product Design: 

    • A new range of IoT based products for the entire bathroom. ​

  2. App Design: 

    • Mobile App for browsing the product range, visualize through AR.

    • Mobile App to control and manage the IoT based Smart products. (future scope)

 

THE PROBLEM

Help Delta Faucets gain business profits by finding a way to leverage the IoT with their existing products for custom build homes using the Masco portfolio.
